I'm here. I'm fine.  I'm a lazy blogger.

The good news is that I was able to see an endo specialist in the area and she has agreed to do a lap and possible hysterectomy, if necessary.  There are days when my broken girly parts don't bother me so much and I think, "oh, this isn't so bad, you big wimp."

And then there are days where I would gouge out the whole works with a rusty spoon if I could.

In this past two years, the bad days out number the good days and, frankly, I'd like for the whole works to just be over.  Therefore, I have a date with a not-rusty scalpel next Friday.  On the upside, I plan on fully maximizing my access to pain-killing narcotics while I have a legitimate excuse to lounge about in bed with a remote.

Well, I guess yay for surgery, then? Wishing you a long, but painless recovery so you can enjoy some time with the remote in bed. Will you have lots of help with the wee fellars?

How ARE they anyway?

Oh, and shameless plug, I've got a new blog up. Blush.

Wow -- that's a big change! Well, I wish your uterus a fond farewell. "You have provided nothing of much use for 32 years."

Glad to see you're back. You were missed!
Congrats? on the surgery. I think when / if girly parts get evicted is a personal choice. If ya want them gone, adios!

Take it easy. I'll be thinking of you.

So good to hear from you.

I can't tell you how many times I've said to the MD, "This plumbing is doing me absolutely no good whatsoever. I'm done with the pain and bleeding. Get it out."

They don't take me seriously.

So good to see you back!!!

Sometimes there is nothing better than lounging about in bed with a remote. Pity that we have to succumb surgery in order to do so without pangs of guilt.

A hysterectomy is not so scarry and when the recovery time passes you'll feel good again. You shouldn't fear of this surgery and it wouldn't change your life if you don't let it.
